Where Do I Get My Vitamins From?

There is more to food than what meets the eye. When you approach food with a fitness mindset, you begin to think of calories in terms of energy supply. For instance, someone who runs marathons will rely on field, preferably fat, that can deliver energy over a long period.

Your diet needs to include 13 essential vitamins that are divided into two categories: those that are fat-soluble and can be stored in our fatty tissues, and those that are water-soluble and need to be replenished frequently. 

The body stores vitamins A, D, E, and K. You will need to consume vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7 (biotin), B9 (folate), B12, and C. And this is why it is so important to focus on a healthy and balanced diet. If your body doesn’t receive the vitamins it needs, it can’t fulfill its natural functions.

Focus on a vitamin-rich diet

There’s no secret. If you’re going to naturally include vitamins into your diet, you need to understand where they come from. Can you truly get all your vitamins from your diet? It is a tricky question.. Meat has a lot of vitamins and minerals, however, vegan diets, for example, could fail to provide essential vitamins that tend to be present in dairy products and animal protein.
