I freakin freakin freakin love Christmas. Heck, I’ve been ready since LAST YEAR. Yup. December 26 2017, I was ready for this year’s Christmas. And this year on boxing day, I’ll be ready for next year’s christmas and so on and so forth.

Despite being lonely during the holidays, I can’t help but fall in love with the holiday cheer. This year, much like years previous, I’ll be caroling from door to door handing out baked goods. I mean, remember this?

That was a lot of fun. <3

There’s something magic about the air. The people are kinder. Our hearts open wider. Everything is jolly. Everything is loving. We fall in love with the spirit and remember that we are united, either with family and friends or with the universe.

Oh, here’s some posts around this time of the year you’ll also like reading:

As I write this, my little aroma diffuser (whom I have named “Ahh” after “Ooh” died, aka doesn’t work anymore) enchants my room with peppermint essential oil and I just love how Christmas-y it smells despite not having a Christmas tree.

This year I give the gift of service to my friends by helping them clean up and decorate their homes. I’ve offered 4 friends to help decorate their homes; one of them recently moved houses too! I love interior decor and thought about making house-shopping a hobby (kind of like how people window-shop; I wouldn’t buy a house obviously, but it’d nice to browse homes).

It’s also endearing to make presents for friends! I’ve mentioned before my pen paling endeavors, I love getting crafty and all DIY! In the past, I’ve always thought it redundant to redecorate and make gifts because my family’s never appreciated them when I was a child when I made cutesy little art-and-craft cards and origami. I saw it too as, unless a present holds practicality, what was the point? Eventually I found my school creations for mother’s day, father’s day, Christmas, and Valentine’s day in the trash bin. I  adopted the belief that self-made gifts just created extra clutter.

And while some recipients of gifts may think this too, I now see things differently, since being much more separate from my home (I’m estranged from my parents).

I love decorating. Beauty matters.

I’ve gotten to grow on my own and found my own taste; I realize that the vibration and gratitude and love I put into a gift puts out an energetic vibe to the universe and to the person I’m gifting to, whether they know it or not. It brings me joy to also put care into making gifts, and exercises my creativity! I no longer see them as useless impractical tools but rather treasures. <3

So I’ve been doing some DIY cards this year ^^

Annnnnyyyywhoooozies, I know what you’re here for. The ultimate gift guide! Well, look no further, because here it is. I’ve compiled all my favourite products.

YOGA MAT: https://amzn.to/2SiE1UC

I’ve honestly never come across a better, nonslip yoga mat. I’m so impressed by their quality! I first discovered B mats through the yoga studio I volunteer at. I go once a week to help out and get my flow on privately in a room, using the bolsters, mats, and blocks. I’m very close with the owner. 🙂

ESSENTIAL OILS DIFFUSER: https://amzn.to/2QEgZKG

Nothing like having your room smell like a sanctuary…around this time of the year I like it smelling like Christmas–that means wintergreen essential oil is one that I always have on! This is the diffuser I currently own by SImply Earth (a post coming up on that soon!). I named her Ahh. ^^

DUMBBELLS: https://amzn.to/2QiCi5h

Books I recommend:

THE UNIVERSE HAS YOUR BACK – https://amzn.to/2rthMjw

This has been one life-changing book. Gabrielle Bernstein is my favourite author of the year. In fact, this has been my favourite book of the year by far. If you struggle with fear, need reassurance, or want to find peace, this is the book.

THE POWER OF NOW – https://amzn.to/2E89Jjr (which I’m currently reading!) There are some books out there that are worth borrowing and returning at the library. and other books to read, reread, and reread again. This book is the latter. Each time you read it, you’ll take away something different, or it’ll dawn upon you an important message that you missed the previous read.
