Flourless Cheese Crumpets


Keto/Low carb. Primal.

Biscuits. English muffins, crumpets. Crumpets, anyone?


I personally made mine with sliced avocado.

This is a great wheat free, gluten free, flourless alternative to breads and other starches we eat without sacrificing the flavour or texture. Fool your friends and family! I made this originally because I wanted an alternative to bread for hamburgers. Feel free to use it in place of buns anytime! It’s so easy to make and yummy to eat.


All the ingredients you need.


Combine Dry Ingredients


Add Wet ingredients


I used a muffin pan because I didn’t have a muffin top one!


So cute!


Cut it in half.


Melt Butter on it.

Flourless Cheese Crumpets

Yield: 4-6 crumpets

Easy, delicious, tastes and looks just like wheat-based breads!


  • 1 Cup Almond flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Butter(or ghee)
  • 1 cup Cheese(I used mozzerella)
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 tbsp Whey protein powder(unflavoured)


  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Combine almond flour, baking soda, whey protein, and cheese in a bowl.
  3. Beat eggs and add to mixture.
  4. Add your butter(or ghee) at room temperature and mix thoroughly.
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes


Feel free to top with whatever you like! Almond butter, avocado, sliced meat, cheese…in addition, I toasted mine for a good 2 minutes to further harden it.
